MORE VACCINATION TESTIMONIES
Whenever someone calls me looking for a Siamese or Oriental kitten, I ask if they have any other cats. Many times I hear that they have just lost a cat to lymphomas or kidney disease. Both of these conditions are heart breaking. This is why I have included information about keeping your cat healthy and feeding raw meat food on my website. Your knowledge could save your cat’s life.
LETTER from Mary: Regarding your question about what I believe cause Obi's lymphoma. He has always had a difficult time after vaccinations, the last one he got, a 3 in one, I think was in January. He developed a lump in his left thigh, but my vet did not seem to think significant. I just noticed about 10 days ago that he had swollen lymph nodes all around his neck, under his arms, multiple sites. I took him to the vet on Tuesday, and within an hour I received a call at work telling me they suspected Lymphoma, he tested free of leukemia, though. He went done hill rapidly, and so Thursday night I asked the vet to remove his catheter keeping him hydrated and took him home. The vet gave him a shot of some steroid, which she (vet) thought would help him for at least a day or two so I could have a chance to spend his last days together. I took him Saturday morning and had him go to sleep in my arms, wrapped in his "wubby", a cuddly blanket. He really was a sweet, sweet boy...a true beauty in every way and I miss him so much. So, I guess I do not know why he died -- he was not quite 3 years old. I don't think I could go through this again, so I want to follow your advice about vaccines and feeding. I can wait until you have kitties again.....
