YOUNG AGAIN CAT FOOD: food your cats will love and it is good for them…..

Why should I feed Young Again dry cat food?

· Promotes healthy immune system with Rejuvene’ a patented compound found only in Young Again pet food.

· Balanced nutrition with min 50% protein and min 22% fat/oil.

· Health benefits comparable to a raw meat diet or a mouse

· Lowest carbohydrates of any dry food…only 5 percent or zero.

· Odorless and low stool volumes because the food is utilized by the cat

· High digestibility and calorie dense (590 Kcal/cup), so less food is needed to satisfy and to build muscle.  Puts less strain on the kidney because of less food consumption.

· The best nutrition for less cost per day than canned or other big manufactures’ dry cat food.

· Zero carbohydrate dry food for diabetic and hypoallergenic cats

How much does it cost and how long will an 8 pound bag last?

This food should be free fed.  See comment about feeding below.  An 8 pound bag delivered to your door – costs about  $0.30 a day for a 5 pound cat fed 1/4 cup per day and an 8 lb. bag will last about 128 days.  Cats may eat more than this to begin with and then taper off to recommended amount.

And for a 10 pound cat the cost about $0.60 a day and the  8 pound bag will last about 2 months.  Because of the high metabolized calories in the food, your cat needs to eat less of this food than other grain free foods with 42% protein.    For additional savings, a larger 25 pound bag will feed your 10 pound cat 1/2 cup for $0.50 per day.

Text Box: Information about the ingredients and feeding instructions from Michael Massie, owner and developer

Young Again 50/22 formula only contains 5% digestible carbs and a mouse will average 2-3 percent carbs. We also have a Zero Carbs formula which does not contain any source of digestible carbs.

Our food does NOT contain potato, it does contain potato starch. There is a big difference potato is roughly 8% plant protein and potato starch contains no plant protein hence the name potato starch.

Our food does NOT contain tomatoes; it does contain tomato pomace which is both the soluble and insoluble fiber portion of the tomato. Fibers are by definition non digestible they therefore, do not contribute to the energy of the cat food, they only aid in digestion and help promote healthy bacteria in the large intestine.

Our food does NOT contain herbs it does contain rosemary extract to help preserve the product. We do not use the oil. We are only interested in one molecule “Carnosic Acid” which is extracted from the Rosemary and is water soluble. All the other parts of the Rosemary are not used, certainly not the oil. This acid dramatically boosts the effectiveness of the Tocopherols to naturally stabilize the fats and oils in our food.

Pork protein concentrate is a highly digestible pork meat which is 80% protein, 10 % fat and very low in ash. Many people who feed raw use pork and many companies who sell raw use pork. It is after all the other white meat.

Should I only give my cat a limited amount of your food?
Do not do this. All cats (with the exception of sick or neurotic individuals) should be fed free choice with the Young Again food. If you restrict feed your cat then you will be instilling in your cat the perception that there is a food shortage and they will begin to over consume. Remember the concentration camp survivors who decade’s latter still carry food around with them at all times: let’s not do this to a healthy cat. A normal cat will not over eat my food if you don’t believe me I would prefer you feed your cat someone else’s food. I have yet to see a cat overeat my food out of boredom. Think of it this way: you are given one cracker to eat every 10 minuets most people could continue this all day long. Now you have to eat an equal strip of beef jerky every 10 minutes: most people could not continue this for more than a few hours. The difference in digestion time is the key. Your cat will process the Young Again cat food at a rate that will sync with their metabolism and they will not overeat like they do on the other cat foods.

We have been feeding home prepared raw and grain free dry food for the cats and kittens since 2006.  Some of the cats have always preferred dry kibbles to the raw diet.  Since feeding Young Again, these older seniors are more active and let me know when the bowl is empty!   Our cats rate this food as all paws up.
